Portable Signs
Use Flashing ALERT Signs alone or in combination with emergency advisory radio stations to alert motorists on roadways with speeds of less than 60 MPH.

Features include . . .
  • Bright LEDs.

  • Solar power.

  • Control by 2-way radio or commercial paging.

  • Custom sign panels.

Operate separately from advisory radio stations to prompt immediate action described by sign text, e.g., “Evacuate this Area When Beacons Flash.”

Control flashing amber beacons on high speed highway via wireless means without compromising AM broadcast signals. The FAS6000 includes a solar-power collection-and-storage system, a receiver and two amber LED flashing beacons.

Each sign flash controller can recognize multiple on/off codes, allowing each sign to obey commands shared with other signs in the area. In this way, common groupings of Flashing Advisory Signs may be keyed on or off quickly in emergency situations.

Wireless control methods include 2-way radio and commercial paging.

8" or 12" LED beacons are rated for more than 100,000 hours of continuous operation. The sealed-gel cell battery auto-disconnects at low voltage to preserve integrity. FAS6000’s 64-watt unbreakable solar panel and charging system allow many hours of operation per day without tapping into battery reserves. FAS6000 batteries provide approximately 60 hours of continuous dark operation. The solar charging system adds an additional 3-15 hours of operation per day, on the average, varying with location and season.

Flashing beacon controllers do not include sign panels unless optioned.
FWHA-approved for use on rights-of-way, FASTrack Portable Signs are ultra compact and come complete with quick-erect stands and carrying case.

The signs are rated for winds up to 70 miles per hour. Flexible fluorescent orange or pink panels unroll in just 20 seconds.

FHWA/NFPA-approved for use at emergency scenes, FASTrack Signs are ideal for notifying motorists of advisory radio signals and are often used with ISS RoadRunnR and RadioSTAT Portable Advisory Radio Stations to manage incidents, emergencies and short-term road construction.
